You opened your own business to pursue your dreams...not to learn accounting. I help you get back to doing the work you love. When you collaborate with me you get a trustworthy, reliable partner who wants your business to be successful. There is flexibility in how we approach our partnership - I can err on the side of being your ultra-connected business advisor, OR be nearly invisible...quietly getting the work done behind the scenes so you don’t have to. Ultimately, we will figure out the best way to work together to keep your business moving in the right direction.

Your business is unique. That’s why I take great care in getting to know the full picture of what your company does. Every decision that comes next supports your work and your vision and is meant to make your life easier.

Accounting systems can be confusing, to say the least. You may not even be sure how well they’re working for you. I provide a fresh set of eyes to evaluate areas for improvement and determine exactly what needs to be done to free up your time and keep you on track going forward.

I take an individualized approach to assisting my clients with their financial needs. I will work to create a proposal that is both transparent and uniquely tailored to your business. This sets the stage to begin our partnership with clarity and confidence.

Small business owners are my people. I like the idea of the owner who knows both their employees and their employees’ families.  The owner who sponsors the t-ball team. The small business that posts on their social media about the new small business across the street.  Successful small business owners are driven by their passion to create something meaningful and to bring value to others and the community, and that resonates with me.

Because I am a champion of small businesses, my mission is to provide high quality support that fits your budget. I take the time to get to know your business, care for it and root for it as if it were my own.

Like many of my clients, I founded my business because I march to the beat of my own drum.  I value having a say in where I spend my time and energy. I enjoy the freedom of checking my emails in my pajamas and taking lunch-time runs with my dog.

I offer my support so that my clients can have that same freedom to spend more time with their pets or partners or kids or crafting…whatever it is that they’d be doing if they weren’t spending time on bookkeeping.

Outside of the passion I hold for small business advocacy, I earned a B.A. in Mathematics from Boston College and a teaching certificate from Bridgewater State.  Prior to founding Consulting by Numbers, I worked in Account Management, Operations Management, Program Direction, Project Coordination, Sales, and Education.

I look forward to hearing from you!
