ABOUT ME
Small business has been my focus from the start. I like the idea of the owner who knows both their employees and their employees’ families. The owner who donates to the t-ball team. The small business that posts on their social media about the new small business across the street. I’m charmed by Main Street America, and my work is in fostering all that is good about the digital Main Street.
Small businesses need high quality support that fits in their budget. They need the ability to bring on someone who will really take the time to get to know the business and love it and root for it as if it were their own.
Like many of my clients, I founded my business because I march to the beat of my own drum. I value having a say in how I use my time and my effort. I’ll admit it, sometimes I check my emails in my turquoise living room, in my pajamas. I value my lunch-time runs with my dog. I offer my support so that my clients can have more time to spend with their pets or partners or kids or crafting…whatever it is that they’d be doing if they weren’t spending time on bookkeeping.
I hold a B.A. in Mathematics from Boston College and a teaching certificate from Bridgewater State. Prior to founding Consulting by Numbers, I worked in Account Management, Operations Management, Program Direction, Project Coordination, Sales, and Education.
